It requires a high level of development of visual-figurative and spatial thinking, good motor skills, physical endurance, and an aptitude for manual and technical work.

Finishing work is carried out to create proper sanitary, hygienic and aesthetic conditions in residential buildings. In addition, finishing works such as painting structures or lining them with natural or artificial materials create reliable protection of structures from atmospheric or other influences.

The finishing work includes:

– plastering work (plastering brick walls or grouting walls and ceilings made of prefabricated elements, as well as finishing walls with sheets of dry plaster, etc.);

– tiling works (cladding walls and floors with glazed or other tiles);

Plastering works

In modern housing construction, wet and dry finishing of surfaces with plaster is used. In the first method, a series of layers of dough-like or liquid mortars are applied to the surface of the brick wall to be finished as the previous liquid layer sets or dries sufficiently. Cement, complex and lime mortars in large-block and panel buildings are used for sealing joints between walls, partitions and ceilings, filling seams - joints of floor slabs, as well as for sealing sinkholes and potholes on the surface of wall blocks and panels.

In the second method of work, wet processes for finishing the internal surfaces of residential buildings are replaced by facing brick walls with sheets of dry plaster.
